TOPIC

A team of Tele’Drama leaders from each of the six populated continents will collaborate with participants to explore and demonstrate diverse sociodrama styles and trends worldwide, emphasizing their similarities and the cultural and historical contexts that influence these practices. The session’s goal is to foster the interconnection of cultures toward a unified global purpose: utilizing international sociometry and sociatry to offer a path toward the healing of global society.

This session will include a sociodrama-specific warm-up, exploration of the group’s sociometry, a brief didactic presentation, and the directing of sociodrama with a focus on building safety, developing emerging roles, setting scenes, and an action segment utilizing various sociodrama techniques to facilitate awareness. It will culminate in a phase of integration and sharing. The Tele’Drama team is excited to welcome everyone to this profound international and multicultural exploration.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and apply diverse sociodrama techniques from various cultural and historical contexts, thereby enhancing their ability to facilitate multicultural understanding and contribute to global healing through sociometry and sociatry.
  • Develop skills in creating a safe and dynamic sociodrama environment, which includes mastering online warm-up exercises, role development, and scene setting. Participants will also learn to effectively use various sociodrama action techniques to promote awareness and insight in a group setting.
